SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has issued an online open tender under a single-stage, two-part bid system. This tender invites offers for the outright purchase or 28-year lease of up to 800 acres of land in Punjab. The land, which will be used for setting up solar power projects with a capacity of up to 200 MW, must include all requisite statutory clearances, chain link fencing around the periphery, and connectivity with the State Transmission Utility (STU).

Bidders can propose multiple land parcels up to a maximum of 1200 acres. Each parcel must be either 200 acres or a multiple thereof, up to 800 acres. Offers of land parcels less than 200 acres will not be considered. If a land parcel exceeds 200 acres but is not a multiple of 200, the area will be rounded to the nearest multiple, with the price bid adjusted accordingly.
