“Survey Reveals 30% of Americans Seeking New Cars Are Open to Non-Gasoline Options”

A recent survey conducted by the American Automobile Association (AAA) has revealed that 30% of Americans who are in the market for a new car are open to purchasing a vehicle that does not run on gasoline. This is a significant increase from just a few years ago, when electric and hybrid vehicles were still a relatively new concept for many consumers.

The survey, which was conducted in early 2021, polled over 1,000 American adults who were planning to purchase a new car within the next year. Of those surveyed, 30% said they were considering a non-gasoline option, such as an electric vehicle (EV) or a hybrid.

This shift in consumer attitudes towards non-gasoline vehicles can be attributed to several factors. One of the main drivers is the increasing awareness of the environmental impact of gasoline-powered cars. As more people become concerned about climate change and air pollution, they are looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprint.
